Nonvascular Interventions of Head and Neck

Interventional radiology in the head and neck region includes nonvascular interventions (biopsy/fine needle aspiration cytology using USG or CT guidance; sclerotherapy using USG guidance, percutaneous ultrasound-guided drainages) and vascular interventions (angioembolization in head and neck bleeding, embolization of tumors, and arteriovenous malformations). Nonvascular interventions of the head and neck are discussed in this chapter.
