Interventions of the Extremity Arteries

Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is characterised by stenotic or occlusive arterial disease with decreased blood flow to limbs. In this chapter, we have described the diagnostic and imaging modalities for PAD, the initial management strategies, indications of revascularization, endovascular methods of revascularization, evidence based guideines for peripheral arterial interventions and recent advances.
