Designing a Framework to Reduce the Mental Work Load and Improve the Mental Health of Workers Engaged in Pink-Collar Jobs

Pink-collar jobs are occupations that have historically been held by womenWomen and are frequently related to providing care, serving others, or handling paperwork. Nursing, education, childcare, secretarial work, and retail are a few examples. These positions have a distinct set of circumstances that affect the mental healthHealth of the employees who work in them. An examination of the mental health issues that employees in pink-collar positions experience is provided in this chapter and a designDesign framework is suggested using qualityQuality function deployment to mitigate the challengesChallenges of pink-collar jobs.
