The consideration of spiritual care is essential in assisting patients and families in finding meaning and purpose in life, as well as fostering communication and personal growth. Recognizing and acknowledging the spiritual aspect of individuals is a fundamental aspect of providing care, and spirituality plays a pivotal role in palliative care. This chapter will cover the definition of spiritual care, the various levels of spiritual care, the processes and structure involved in spiritual care, and the spiritual development of children.
