The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) has extended beyond traditional healthcare settings to encompass smart care homes, where innovative technology and interconnected smart devices facilitate remote monitoring and individualized treatment for elderly people in residential environments. This research paper aims to contribute to the growing volume of academic research on IoMT security in the context of smart care homes by analyzing and evaluating the security measures taken and helping healthcare service providers, technology developers, and policymakers implement diligent security strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of elderly people living in care homes.
