Eye examinations can significantly help in preventing various eye diseases. Glaucoma patients are at high risks of vision loss if the IOP was not monitored and kept within the safe range. Ignoring medical check-ups for those patients is a serious medical issue that could lead to vision loss. Therefore, ophthalmologists stress the need for continual medical attention. This research proposes a design for wearable, web-connected glasses that aid in monitoring patients’ health conditions. These smart glasses would help track patients’ intraocular pressure and directly send reports to ophthalmologists’ clinics, which would allow them to detect eye disorders. As proposed, a high-definition camera would stream real-time videos from patients to the doctors. The prototype design in this research aims to save video recordings of the patient’s eyes for later data analysis by doctors or smart systems that would be a source for eyes’ medical history. The key design aspects of the proposed design are discussed in this research.

摘要
