This study aimed to assess the perceptions and levels of sustainability of IT projects within Telco X, a telecommunications company in Ghana, using the Sustainable Project Management Maturity Model (SPM3). A sample of 15 IT project professionals was used, and a Likert scale was used for analysis in SPSS. The results showed that meeting current needs, the environmental dimension, and the social dimension were the most important aspects for IT project sustainability (46.7%), followed by the economic dimension (33.3%) and allowing for future generations to meet their needs (26.7%). Telco X is at level 3 or the “proactive” level on the SPM3, with all three dimensions individually at level 3. The findings provide recommendations for future research and further research in this critical area of IT project sustainability.
