The accumulation of large amounts of medical data in the systems of various medical service providers allows for the possibility of reuse of this data for additional analysis. This article presents a case of reusing data routinely collected from clinical systems. The available data is presented in a new structure more suitable for research purposes. The application developed on the new data model demonstrates these capabilities. We discuss initial results about tendencies discovered in patients’ hospital admissions that go beyond ordinary analysis in hospital systems.
