Digital Transformation of MSMEs in Muntang Village: Implementing the RSM Utility Design for Enhanced Market Access and Operational Efficiency
摘要
This study investigates the application of the RSM Utility Design methodology in developing a digital catalog for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Muntang Village, Kemangkon Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency, to address the challenges of market access and digital visibility. MSMEs form a critical part of the local economy but face significant hurdles due to limited digital presence and market reach. This research aims to design and implement a user-friendly digital catalog application that showcases local MSME products and services, facilitating broader market reach and enhancing brand awareness. The methodology, a simplified adaptation from Google Design Sprint, focuses on rapid prototyping and user feedback to ensure the application meets both functional and user experience needs. By integrating utility principles focused on user preferences and shared values, the application is tailored to enhance user engagement and operational efficiency. Results indicate that the digital transformation strategy not only broadens market access but also provides robust tools for managing customer relationships and operational logistics, thus bolstering the economic position of MSMEs in the digital landscape. This study underscores the importance of digital infrastructure in empowering MSMEs to withstand economic fluctuations and leverage digital tools for business growth and sustainability.
