Advancements in the Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI), different personal data, including sensitive data is being collected in multiple data formats for various reasons. Leveraging the advancements in IoT, smart devices are capable of data collection, storage and processing with limited knowledge, consent and control from the user. On-device processing and Personal Data Stores (PDS) in the contexts of smart homes could be the solution to the intrusive nature of smart home data collection, processing, storage and deletion.
