摘要

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligenceArtificial intelligence (AI) technologies is significantly transformingTransforming healthcare the healthcare industry, particularly in the realm of sustainabilitySustainability. This study investigates the profound impacts of AI on healthcare operations, emphasising sustainable developmentSustainable development. It explores how AI-driven innovations such as robotics, deep learning, and predictive analyticsTelemedicine, predictive analytics are revolutionising clinical management systems, patient engagementPatient engagement, chronic care models, and clinical trials, thereby enhancing efficiency and outcomes. Despite AI's potential to reduce operational costs and improve service delivery, its integration poses challenges, particularly concerning environmental sustainabilityEnvironmental sustainability and long-term viability. The healthcare sector's transition towards AI encompasses the adoption of digital solutions aimed at achieving the World Health Organization's (WHO) goals, such as universal health coverage and reduced global health expenditure. The research underscores the need for sustainable AI solutions that align with the principles of the circular economy and social well-being. It also highlights successful case studies demonstrating AI's role in analysing large data volumes, improving decision-making processes, and developing self-learning algorithms. In the short term, the study aims to disseminate findings to the scientific community and identify opportunities for further research and partnerships. In the long term, it envisions AI refining healthcare management and contributing to a sustainable futureSustainable future where social well-being is prioritised. This study emphasises the importance of ethical and legal considerations, data security, and the need for a balanced approach to AI adoption in healthcare to ensure sustainabilitySustainability and equity. The findings provide a comprehensive understanding of AI's potential and challenges in the healthcare sector, offering insights for future research and policy development.
