Clinical decision support systems (CDSS) are a cutting-edge development in today’s healthcare information systems. They primarily utilize advanced computer algorithms and comprehensive medical knowledge bases to improve the accuracy and completeness of decisions made by medical personnel when treating patients. This, in turn, reduces the incidence of medical errors, enhances the quality of healthcare, and lowers medical costs. With the rapid advancement of medical equipment and information technology, increasingly complex clinical situations and the explosive growth of clinical data have placed higher demands on CDSS. One common issue, “alert fatigue,” has drawn considerable attention from researchers. Consequently, developing a CDSS that is comprehensive across the entire diagnostic and treatment process, safe, efficient, and user-friendly in terms of human-computer interaction has become a major focus of current research.
