摘要

The use of digital medical imaging systems in healthcare institutions has been widely promoted, becoming one of the most valuable tools for supporting clinical decisions and diagnostic treatments. Compared to traditional film-based analog systems, storing and retrieving images in a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) show significant advantages. The “Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Development of ‘Internet + Healthcare’” issued by the General Office of the State Council in 2018 pointed out that “It is encouraged for higher-level medical institutions within medical consortia to utilize technologies such as artificial intelligence to provide services like telemedicine consultation, remote ECG diagnosis, and remote imaging diagnosis to grassroots levels. This will promote real-time access, mutual recognition, and sharing of examination and test results among medical institutions within the medical consortia.” The construction of PACS can comprehensively improve work efficiency, reduce operating costs, and create excellent opportunities for telemedicine, remote work, and collaborative work environments.
