‘The age of narrow-nationalism is coming to an end. The first venture to build up the future cosmopolitan union will take place in that field of BolpurBolpur [i.e. SantiniketanSantiniketan]. I will make that place an entity beyond the narratives of nation-centric geographies—that is what I have in mind... Tearing off the shackles of chauvinistic ego and making the world free—is the mission of my last age’.
