Contours of Political Thought
摘要
Tagore used his axiology—the ‘ethico-aesthetic’ calculus—to evaluate and to act on the issues and ideas, which composed the world of politics around him in case of his contemporary Bengal, India, and beyond. Some of these issues/ideas had drawn the outlines or contours of politics of not only the poet: they were common to most of his Indian contemporaries, Mahatma GandhiGandhi, M.K., for example. It would be beneficial for us if we compare some of these contours with Gandhi’sGandhi, M.K. position.
