The previous five chapters have theoretically discussed agricultural originality and unoriginality, predicted the areas in China that might have seen agricultural origins from the perspective of ecological modelling and suggested the initial conditions of Chinese agricultural originality from the perspectives of both environmental change and the Upper Paleolithic adaptation. This chapter will discuss the formation, process, and characteristics of Chinese agricultural centres through the perspective of archaeological material by analysing, generalising, and comparing.
