Characteristics of Electron in Atom, Molecule and Metal

The characteristics of electrons in atom, molecule and metals are comparatively outlined, which include the characteristics of electrons in hydrogen atom, helium atom and hydrogen molecule, status of electrons in atoms and metals, first ionization energy of atoms and work function of metals, and electrical resistivity of electrons in metals. The differences of characteristics of electrons in above cases reveal the group behavior of the electronic systems and their synergetic actions among all electrons; the electrical resistivity of electrons in metals reflects the interaction between electrons and crystal lattices and defects.
