DriveChain: Scalable and Effective Data Management Solution to Blockchain-Based VANET with Reputation Assurance Protocol
摘要
The current transportation networks rely heavily on vehicular communication systems, which enable real-time data exchange between V2V and V2I for improved convenience, efficiency, and safety. However, there are issues with data scalability, data reliability, transaction throughput, latency, and security with conventional centralized data management techniques in vehicular communication systems. In our proposed system, we investigate how blockchain technology along with IPFS and edge computing might be able to help with these issues and improve the vehicle communication systems capacity for data handling. In this chapter, we look into how integrating sharding and pruning techniques in blockchain-based VANET along with edge computing can help with scalability and latency issues. With blockchain-based solutions, we provide new analysis for data integrity preservation, transaction validation vehicle authentication, and better scalable data flow in vehicular network. Through the utilization of cryptography methods, decentralized consensus processes and smart contract, sharding and pruning and IPFS to handle registration data, our goal is to improve the reliability, scalability, and privacy of the vehicular communication networks.
