It is crucial to promptly investigate the democratic achievements of the 2024 general election in Indonesia. While the democratic process allows residents to express their political choices peacefully, some people are concerned about the 2024 general election results. This study seeks to assess the degree to which Indonesia has attained the expectations and reality of democracy by examining key elements that influence the implementation of democracy in the country. The studies utilized qualitative research methodologies to assess the aspects influencing the implementation of democracy with the assistance of NVIVO software. A detailed compilation was made of aspects connected to the elements that affect the implementation of democracy, and their levels of achievement were analyzed. The research findings suggest that the current performance in implementing democracy is significantly lower than the desired highly evolved democracy. The ramifications of these accomplishments and ambitions necessitate a collaborative approach from all parties to attain Indonesia’s democratic principles collaboratively.
