Ceria-Based SCR Catalysts

In the process of industrial production, nitrogen oxides (NOx) emission raises serious environmental issues and severely endangers human health. In order to cushion these negative effects, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) with NH3 has been widely applied for NOx removal. However, the commercial SCR catalyst V2O5-WO3(MoO3)/TiO2 has some serious limitations, for instance, the excessively higher operation temperature (> 300 °C).
