摘要

The present paper examines the role of digital technology in creating technological ‏stress (technostress) among higher education teachers. Based on related technostress theories, the study explored five key dimensions: Techno-overload, Techno-invasion, Techno-complexity, Techno-insecurity, and Techno-uncertainty. The researchers utilized a survey research design and collected data using a self-developed online questionnaire. A total of 258 higher education teachers were selected as the sample using a convenience sampling method. The results show that there is no difference in the variables such as years of experience and span of computer and internet usage concerning their gender.‏ The results indicate that higher education teachers were not‏ ‏anxious about the use of technology but complexity in using technology and techno insecurity are the major stressors that cause technostress among teachers of higher educational institutions‏.
