This paper proposes integrating blockchain technology to overcome these issues, offering a decentralized solution that enhances data quality, transparency, and tracking. The approach introduces a system for managing and validating geospatial images, utilizing similarity measures and geo-tag validation. This system ensures reliable data retrieval and enables transparent tracking of data usage. The integration of blockchain-based open GIS provides users with a more secure and efficient system for managing geospatial data, removing redundancy, improving data quality, and facilitating effective geo-image management.
