Evaluation of Wi-Fi 6 in Residential Scenario Using Various RAA
摘要
This paper explores the capabilities of Wi-Fi 6, the latest innovation in wireless communication. This new technology mainly focuses on improving throughput in dense Wireless Local Area Networks. Wi-Fi 6 introduces features like BSS coloring, OFDMA, spatial reuse, Downlink, and Uplink MU-MIMO to enhance network performance. The paper focuses on evaluating the performance of spatial reuse in residential scenarios. We have used ns-3 to simulate a network and tested the network under various rate adaptation algorithms such as constant rate, Minstrel HT, and Thompson Sampling. The aim is to observe how spatial reuse, under various rate adaptation algorithms, can aid in providing significant performance boost in dense scenarios.
