Scaling Design Education: Embracing Digital Pedagogy to Teach Design Thinking and Doing to a Wider Audience
摘要
In a conventional setting, in-class design instruction often hosts up to 60 students in elite institutions, while typical design hackathons garner a participation of 200–300. Contrastingly, today’s educational era seeks amplified scalability to embrace a broader audience’s learning ambitions. This study delves into the dynamics of expanding design education, specifically addressing the challenge of teaching design thinking and execution to a mammoth audience of over 1800 participants across 11 diverse categories.
