Expected Treatment Effect

摘要

It is expected that it will be necessary for the future to score the classifications shown in (p. 64) in more detail. Furthermore, in the future, it is necessary to consider the correction effect (expected value) instead of just the plagiocephaly rate for diagnosis. This is because conventional cranial deformity diagnosis has no “correction effect rate (prediction rate).” In the actual clinical setting of orthotic treatment, there are many questions from families, such as “What degree of orthotic effect can be expected when orthotic helmet treatment is performed?” However, the existing cranial deformity rate does not have a classification of indications for orthotic helmet treatment according to the patency of the great fontanelle and the presence or absence of complications.
