A Method for Calculating Phenotypic Parameters of 3D Point Cloud Plants
摘要
In this paper, a method of calculating leaf area and plant height based on depth camera is proposed to meet the needs of fast and high-precision leaf area and height measurement. The four components of the approach are point cloud data acquisition module, data preprocessing module, point cloud data processing module and calculation module. The depth image can be obtained by using the depth camera, and the combination of the internal and external parameter information of the camera can effectively convert the pixel point to the global coordinate system. Then the obtained original point cloud data is preprocessed to obtain the available point cloud data set, and then the three-dimensional point cloud data is segmented by using European-style clustering and pass-through filter, so that accurate leaf point cloud data can be obtained. Finally, Delaunay triangulation method is used to construct trigonometric mesh point cloud data, and the area and height of the blade can be effectively calculated by summing triangle area and indexing maximum height. According to the experimental findings, the average precision for estimating area is 92.7%, while the average precision for estimating height is 99.1%.
