Wireless Sensor network (WSN) has paved an important role in providing the interconnection of local WIFI, intranet, internet IoT devices and sensors. Key management is used to protect the data. There are numerous approaches presented in literature to design the key management schemes. How to plan a competent key distribution/establishment for resource constrained sensor nodes itself become a challenge. In probabilistic key establishment, nodes share the common keys based on some probability. During a node capture, an attacker can compromise the complete network security by physically seizing a static quantity of sensors. In this paper, we present a secure hashed based probabilistic key establishment scheme for WSN to mitigate the effect of node capture on non-compromised links in a network. We aim to focus on design of key establishment that effectually mitigate the security menace of sensor-captured attacks. Simulation results shows the proposed scheme has low average insecure degree and probability of key compromise over existing scheme.

摘要
