With the growing tendency of online modes of education due to various reasons, it becomes pertinent to understand online learning self-efficacy among students. Because the interactions between learners and instructors in online mode require different levels of effort compared to the traditional mode of education, this study attempts to understand the importance of learner interactions in enhancing online learning self-efficacy among schools and higher education students in India. A survey was conducted among the students of one chain of schools and one University in India. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) showed that learner–content interaction and learner–instructor interaction positively affects online learning self-efficacy among the three types of learner interactions.
