Supraharmonics Analysis of Distribution Side Power Quality Enhancement Network
摘要
High frequency (2 kHz to 150 kHz) emissions in the distribution network injected by switching of power electronics devices introduced a new concept named supraharmonics in the field of power quality. In this work a dedicated network of power quality enhancement using DSTATCOM is analysed for supraharmonics injection. The network has one/two loads that are injecting lower order harmonics which makes the supply current non-sinusoidal. To suppress the lower order harmonics, a DSTATCOM is used. This network forms a structure of two or more converters interacting within themselves in the presence of grid inductance. The analysis of individual power electronics converter is present in the literature. This works introduces the analysis of these converters in a low voltage distribution grid. This study helps to predict the penetration of supraharmonics in the distribution grid due to power quality enhancement infrastructure.
