Methods for Fabrication of Metal Nanoparticles

Much interest has been drawn to the creation of metal nanoparticles because of their special qualities and wide range of uses in industries like medicine, electronics, energy, and catalysis. These metal nanoparticles are fabricated using various techniques designed to yield particles with particular size, morphology, and characteristics. These techniques fall into three general categories physical, chemical, and biological. The chemical and physical approaches are more costly, extremely hazardous, and pollute the environment. The biological approach, however, has several benefits, including being economical, environmentally friendly, and non-toxic. In addition, the hybrid method was also discussed to synthesize the nanoparticles.
