Piezoelectric, Pyroelectric, and Dielectric Properties of PZT: Nylon 11 and Graphite Doped PZT: Nylon11 Composites

摘要

This paper prepared the PZT-Nylon 11 and graphite-doped PZT-Nylon 11 composites with 0–3 phase connectivity geometry using a hot press process. The samples were poled under different conditions, i.e., at different poling temperatures and fields, and characterized for their piezo, pyro, and dielectric properties. The dielectric and AC conductivity measurements were also carried out. The results showed that the piezoelectric constant and remnant polarization both increased with graphite doping. Also, the value of the d33 constant for the graphite-doped sample is almost three times more than the undoped sample, keeping other conditions the same. In addition, remnant polarization was increased for graphite-doped samples compared to undoped samples.
