Electroceramics-Based Materials for Sensor Technology

摘要

In recent decades, significant strides have been made in the domain of product innovation and materials technology, especially in the field of electronic devices and sensors. There is immense potential for future materials in electronic-based sensing devices, given their exceptional electrical, magnetic, and optical properties that support the adoption of emerging technologies. In modern electronics, electroceramics is crucial in facilitating new technological advancements. This chapter briefly introduces the importance and role of electroceramic materials in sensor technology. The chapter widely explore the application of various electroceramic materials such as piezoelectric, ferroelectric, semiconductor, solid, Ionic conductors, solid electrolytes thermoelectric, etc., in diverse sensor technologies. The chapter describes the various synthesis methods for electroceramic-based sensing materials. Future perspectives of electrochemical materials for enhancing sensor technology is also highlighted in the chapter.
