摘要

Sensory neuronopathies refer to dysfunctions of the dorsal root ganglia. Clinically, patients present with severe loss of position and vibration sense and areflexia, often extensively involving limbs and sometimes the trunk as well. The motor system, in contrast, is spared. The clinical localization leads to a set of differential diagnoses, including paraneoplastic, immune-mediated, infectious, toxic, and inherited conditions. Therapy is directed to the etiology, and results can be impressive in a proportion of patients having sensory neuronopathies.
