Autoimmune neuromuscular diseases are common and treatable. Autoimmune myopathies, neuropathies, and myasthenic syndromes have differing pathogenesis and diverse clinical presentations. Timely management prevents disability and impairment. Proper selection of patients and medicines is an art. The current advice on prescribing and monitoring these drugs is derived and modified from rheumatology, dermatology, oncology, and hematology guidelines.
