Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a crucial component in altering various aspects of our lives in the modern day. Particularly in the medical field, AI is especially pertinent in the medical area for leveraging Medical Devices and sensors within intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). CPS blends computational and physical-world communication abilities. They also can improve operational efficiency and lower production prices. These intelligent systems, empowered by AI, enable transformative advancements in healthcare. They provide precise diagnosis, personalized treatment regimens, and efficient patient monitoring, resulting in precise medical results. Furthermore, intelligent CPS enables remote patient monitoring, allowing healthcare personnel to remotely check patient’s health states. This not only increases patient comfort and convenience, but it also allows for early identification of deteriorating health and lowers hospital readmissions. The inclusion of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is essential for the robust application of CPS, as their strong sensing capabilities serve as a crucial driving force for various CPS applications. This manuscript provides a glimpse of the recent achievements in this domain and emphasizes the potential for improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
