Importance and Potential Benefits of Intelligent CPS in Healthcare
摘要
The adoption of the latest technologies is causing a rapid shift in the healthcare sector, and the rise of intelligent cyber-physical systems (CPS) holds great potential for enhancing operational performance and patient care. In this study, the significance of intelligent CPS in healthcare is investigated, with a focus on how it might potentially alter patient care through improved remote monitoring, predictive analytics, and customised medications. The potential for these technologies to enable proactive interventions, provide healthcare professionals with relevant data access, and help early diagnosis to enhance patient outcomes is discussed. By minimising errors, optimising workflows, and increasing productivity, intelligent CPS can also optimise healthcare operations. As a result, healthcare costs will be reduced and organisational performance will be enhanced. They can assist with inventory management, workflow management, and resource allocation. Implementing intelligent CPS in healthcare, however, is fraught with moral dilemmas and practical challenges. In order to achieve responsible and equitable deployment, it is essential to address privacy, security, interoperability, and any biases in decision-making algorithms through robust governance frameworks and legal constraints. Through the use of real-time data, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence, intelligent CPS have the ability to transform healthcare systems into proactive, customised, and efficient entities. To fully realise their potential, it is crucial to address moral concerns and make sure that they work in harmony with existing healthcare infrastructures.
