Smart Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities for CPS
摘要
A robust and intelligent healthcare system that can properly monitor patients and deal with situations like disease outbreaks is essential in light of the recent surge in technological advancements. Smart hospitals and healthcare facilities are leading a technological revolution that is reshaping the healthcare industry. Cyber-Physical System (CPS) in Smart Healthcare have emerged as a result of developments in areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and automation systems. Aim of all these technologies is to create an interconnected intelligent healthcare environment. Smart healthcare uses advanced CPS technology. It tracks and controls a patient’s physical dynamics using highly complicated embedded systems with network connection skills. This chapter begins with an overview of CPS and the key components that make up CPS, such as sensors, actuators, communication networks, and data analytics. After that, we'll discuss how CPS is being used in healthcare facilities specifically, with an emphasis on the transformative potential of “smart hospitals,” their distinguishing features, the contributions of various technologies to their creation, and the primary obstacles standing in the way of widespread adoption of “cyber physical medication systems.” Increasingly pervasive technologies such as wireless sensor networks (WSN), wearable sensor devices, and ambient systems make CPS a reality by interconnecting with the IoT, which facilitates the exchange and collection of data. The physical and cyber worlds are integrated in smart healthcare cyber physical systems for efficient treatment by externally monitoring and controlling medical devices and equipment for constant communication and physiological data transaction.
