The study evaluated the accuracy of the robot-assisted transcrestal sinus floor elevation (TSFE) and simultaneous implant placement. Patients underwent robot-assisted TSFE were included. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) was performed before surgery. The virtual implant position and drilling sequences were planned. Patients with the positioning marker took an intraoral scan. The preoperative CBCT and the intraoral scan were superimposed in the software. Afterwards, the registration procedure was performed and the implant was inserted by the robotic arm under the surgeon’s supervision. The postoperative and preoperative CBCTs were superimposed and the accuracy was calculated automatically. Twenty-five implants of 18 patients were included. No intraoperative and postoperative complications were reported. The global, lateral and vertical platform deviations were 0.68 ± 0.25 mm, 0.38 ± 0.22 mm and 0.26 ± 0.53 mm, respectively. The global, lateral and vertical apex deviations were 0.72 ± 0.21 mm, 0.44 ± 0.19 mm and 0.25 ± 0.53 mm, respectively. The angular deviation was 1.56 ± 0.76º. The accuracy of robot-assisted TSFE and simultaneous implant placement was high.
