The motivation behind this chapter is to showcase the relevancy of sport entrepreneurship. In a world that is quickly changing to include more technological innovation, sport entrepreneurship provides a way of keeping up to date. In many cases sport entrepreneurship provides a way to devise solutions that are both innovative and sustainable. Considerable progress on the role of sport entrepreneurship in society has been made. However, it is still in an infant state compared to other fields. The interest in sport entrepreneurship depends on the sport industry and its requirements for its advancement.
