Future Consideration
摘要
The management, monitoring, evaluation, and treatment of prolonged and long-term ventilated children are not easy because it requires an understanding of several complex aspects. Further development and research into new modes of ventilation and methods of respiratory monitoring, including respiratory muscle function, is desirable. At the same time, it is necessary to promote an understanding of such ICU-acquired weakness, to promote a multidisciplinary or patient-centered approach, to share experience and knowledge, and to establish a system for doing so.
