摘要

Flipping is a specialized fishing method that’s utilized in tight or heavily covered settings, including dense vegetation, under overhanging trees, or around docks, to offer bait properly and quickly. This is a popular approach for bass fishing where you pull a line length from the spool with your non-dominant hand and swing the rod to accurately put the bait. It gives fishermen more opportunities to catch fish by allowing them to target fish that are lurking in hard-to-reach areas. Specialized gear is needed for flipping, including as thick braided lines, fast baitcasting reels, and heavy-duty rods. The method uses a variety of techniques, including pitching, skipping, lowering, dabbing, and punching, to offer lures in a variety of settings. To maximize effectiveness and success, choosing the right cover and knowing when to flip are essential. Although flipping has several benefits, like accurate casting, little disturbance, and adaptability, it also requires training and the appropriate tools to become proficient.
