Personality prediction for a person is in high demand now a days. Personality is a crucial element in every person’s daily life. To know the personality of a person various techniques are implemented. Automatic personality is determined based on various personality assessment models. Various personality assessments were invented early to categorize the personality of a person in different categories. In our research, we analyze the different approaches for personality prediction and provide the direction for further work. We analyze the work structure and criticism of different personality assessment models. This paper selects the work that was published in the years between 2019 and 2023.Various techniques are used for personality prediction, in which Machine Learning Techniques and neural networks are highly employed. Big Five personality traits are utilized in maximum work, but HEXACO personality assessment model adds a new element for personality category. Here we analyzed the work that uses single source text input and multiple source multimodal video, audio input.
