Effect of Interlayer Laser Shock Peening on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Laser Powder Bed Fusion Ti6Al4V Alloy
摘要
In addition to the fabrication of components with complex designs, LPBF also allows the control of microstructures, such as multiscale internal hierarchical architectures of lattice/cellular arrays and other characteristic structures. For instance, Liu et al. fabricated a gradient heterogeneous structure architecture in additively manufactured 316L stainless steel by integrating LPBF and ultrasonic severe surface rolling to achieve a superior strength-ductility combination.
