Designing Microlearning Activities for Teacher Professional Development
摘要
This chapter explores the design of effective teacher professional development (TPD) activities using microlearning, emphasising subject-specific content, cohesive learning, active learning techniques and technology integration. It provides practical examples, such as pronunciation workshops, approaches to grammar instruction and strategies for vocabulary development, to illustrate the application of microlearning principles. These short, targeted TPD sessions can enhance pedagogical practices, improve student outcomes and increase teacher satisfaction and retention.
