With the continuous development of power system, distribution automation technology plays an important role in improving power supply reliability and reducing operating costs. In order to practice the efficient operation of distribution automation, the communication module is an indispensable key component. In this paper, a communication module for distribution network automation based on 800MHz wireless communication technology is proposed, which can penetrate into the distribution network of power supply and reduce operating costs. Technology is proposed, which can penetrate the walls of underground openings and closures, realize the communication between DTU and master station, and avoid the automation equipment dropping.
