In view of the abnormal infrared temperature measurement of the high-voltage side bushing of a main transformer in a 110 kV substation, this paper carries out an active overhaul of the high-voltage side bushing, and makes some tests on the DC resistance measurement, capacitance measurement and dielectric loss measurement of the high-voltage side bushing, it is found that the DC resistance and dielectric loss of C-phase bushing are not up to standard. Through the disassembly inspection of C-phase casing, it is determined that the cause of this defect is the missing fixing pin between the conducting rod and the nut.
