New High-Gain Dual-Switch Coupled Inductor Magnetically Integrated Boost Converter

A novel non-isolated high-gain double-switch coupled inductor magnetic integrated DC-DC topology is proposed. It can be applied to photovoltaic (PV) power generation and other renewable energy fields. The converter is based on a coupling inductor and switching capacitor unit design. The suggested converter features minimal fluctuations in both input and output current; its voltage and current stress are reduced, thereby lessening the conduction loss in the switch tube; High voltage gain at low duty cycle is possible. The use of magnetic integration technology aims to decrease both the quantity and size of magnetic components while lowering expenses. The converter’s passive clamping component is capable of efficiently absorbing the leakage inductance energy and lowering the maximum voltage at both switch ends, whereas the SC component is inserted into the back stage to enhance the converter’s voltage gain and energy conversion efficiency. Research was conducted on the operational mode, consistent performance, and magnetic configuration of the suggested converter. To confirm the proposed converter’s effectiveness, a 200W experimental model was constructed to authenticate the theory’s accuracy.
