Public Pedagogies and Practices

This chapter brings together scholarships that engage in the conceptualization of public pedagogy as well as utilizes the notion as a framework to read and interpret existing power dynamics within various sites. The various articles in the chapter explore the different ways in which the public comes into ‘being’ and also highlight the distinct ways in which pedagogical practices can act as counterhegemonic forces in existing institutionalized educational spaces.
