The significance of teaching for international students in higher education institutions of information technology is analyzed, and the problems and challenges faced by higher education institutions of information technology are listed. The advantages of intercultural teachers in cross-cultural teaching are expounded, and the feasible measures and evaluation system are put forward to promote the intercultural teachers to participate in the teaching of international students. It is suggested to strengthen the leading role of intercultural teachers in cross-cultural teaching, and to promote the improvement of the teaching quality of international students in higher education institutions of information technology.
