摘要

This study sheds light on the factors that determine the efficacy of E-Learning platforms and offers suggestions for their enhanced incorporation into educational environments. Forty-three (43) scholarly publications were analysed using the PRISMA framework. Findings from the survey revealed that E-Learning and Online Learning were the most utilised E-Learning platform and technology, followed by digital technology and tools, highlighting the significance of e-learning, particularly post-COVID-19. In addition, the most common theoretical framework was the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which highlights the significance of online learning. In contrast, considering geographical locations, research was focused on Russia, Europe, India, Saudi Arabia, and North America, while contributions from the Middle East were sparse. Research designs were predominantly quantitative, with a few employing qualitative methods. In addition, students were the primary focus of the samples, followed by teachers. Recommendations and future plan of action including future study areas, such as student involvement, technical concerns, and various learning experiences, are discussed, along with those related to e-learning platform selection and blended learning.
